With over 150 tickets sold via Groupon, we will have much feedback from new customers about how the 500kg, 250bhp Ariel atom 3 handles and works as a taster track day toy, compared with our other toys, such as the V8 powered M3, Porsche 924 track experience and Toyotal Starlet 'Chuck it in and laugh aloud' type front wheel drive track experience.

We wish to bring these together for advanced track day go-ers, who see the Atom as a truly exciting car to experience, but who will also appreciate our approach to improving driver skills throughout the day, which can often be done more effectively in cars that do not offer such an out-and-out assault on the senses, such as the Atom.

Indeed, the M3 offers truly exciteing acceleration, grip and very communicative controls in a balanced rear wheel drive chassis, whilst the Starlet offers a stripped-back, high power, low grip FWD track day experience. Each of these cars have an important part to play in your understanding of car control.

No matter how experienced, anyone short of race driver status should appreciate there is always more to learn, and more speed to gain on track. The better you understand the dynamics of a car, and the relvance of chassis layout in how the car behaves, the more you will imrove as a driver.

Of course, as we remember from school, learning may not always be fun - which is why we make sure the pressure is off, you go as fast as you feel comfortable doing, It is our job when you are on our Ariel Atom Driving Experiences, or any of our track day experiences, that you finish the day feeling more comfortable at higher speeds than you did when you started the day.

Before we got into the market offering petrolheads everyone the opportunity to participate in a track day in our Ariel Atom 3, we often attended as customers ourselves, before realising that the track days on offer were not, in fact, proper track days. They are, what we refer to, as our handling days.

If you are simply looking to experience the thrills, the smells, and the seat of the pants acceleration of a car like the Ariel Atom, on track, then this will do the job much more quickly, and cheaply, than a full track day. Motorsport is not cheap, simply consider the cost of track day entry, fuel and insurance you are already looking at £100's easily.
